PrivacyTerms

1. Scope and responsibility

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit an iKon website, create or use an artist or staff account, submit music, build or publish an electronic press kit (EPK), upload media, request services, or otherwise communicate with us. It does not govern third-party services that publish their own privacy policies.

iKon Music and Entertainment, LLC is responsible for the personal information described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and identity details such as name, email, credentials, artist name, location, biography, and profile information.
  • Artist and EPK content, including photographs, artwork, audio, video, press materials, credits, links, social profiles, booking information, and content selected for publication.
  • Submission and service information, including song titles, genres, moods, release dates, streaming links, playlist requests, editorial materials, project files, support requests, and communications.
  • Subscription and transaction records, including plan, status, renewal information, and transaction references. External commerce or payment providers may process payments; iKon does not need to receive full payment-card numbers.

Information collected automatically

We may receive device, browser, IP address, authentication, security, diagnostic, referring-page, and activity information. Cookies or similar storage may support authentication, preferences, fraud prevention, and service operation. Optional analytics or marketing technologies will receive any notice or choice required by law.

Other sources

We may receive membership or purchase status from commerce providers, public music and social metadata from links you provide, and account information from authentication, hosting, storage, or platform vendors.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, troubleshoot, personalize, and improve the platform.
  • Manage accounts, memberships, subscriptions, EPKs, submissions, editorial workflows, artist tools, and requested services.
  • Publish content you expressly designate for public release.
  • Review submissions, communicate decisions, provide support, and maintain operational records.
  • Prevent abuse, enforce agreements, protect users and rights holders, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Send service messages and, where permitted, promotional communications you may opt out of.

4. When information is shared

We may disclose information to vendors supporting hosting, databases, authentication, storage, email, analytics, support, commerce, payments, and security. They may process information for services provided to us, subject to contract and law.

Content in a published EPK, editorial story, public artist directory, or other public feature is available to visitors and may be indexed, copied, or shared. Do not publish information you want to remain private.

We may disclose information when required by law; to protect safety, rights, property, or platform integrity; during a corporate transaction; or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain legitimate business and editorial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect security. Public content may remain until unpublished or removed, and residual copies may remain temporarily in backups.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the information processed. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and notify us of suspected compromise.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

You may update many account and EPK details in your dashboard, unsubscribe from promotional email, and control whether an EPK is published. Depending on your location and legal exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability, or object to certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

We may verify identity and authority before completing a request. If we deny an appealable request, you may contact us to appeal. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted.

Learn more from the Texas Attorney General and California Attorney General. These links are informational and do not mean a particular law applies in every case.

7. Children’s privacy

The platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without legally required parental authorization. Contact us if you believe a child provided information improperly. Artists who are minors must use account and publishing features with a parent or legal guardian’s involvement and permission.

8. International use and changes

Information may be processed in the United States and where our providers operate. Where required, appropriate cross-border protections apply. We may update this policy as services or obligations change. Material changes will be identified by a revised date and additional notice when required.

9. Contact us

For privacy questions or rights requests, use the iKon contact page and identify the request as “Privacy.” Do not send passwords, government identification, or payment-card information through a general message.

Business review recommended: Before public launch, counsel should confirm applicable state thresholds, vendor disclosures, retention schedules, request-verification procedures, and a formal privacy contact channel.
